| Afri-Devo (PTY) LTD is 100% black owned and managed. The company fully supports the development of its employees through further education and skills empowerment. To date, about 40% of the staff compliment has acquired further education qualifications through the assistance of the company. Enterprise development has also been another strong portfolio pursued by the company, wherein a number of small sub-contractors in areas such as aluminum frames and glazing, carpentry, tiling and electrical work have been identified and assisted to procure machinery and trade tools. The company continues to assist them even further with job opportunities in and outside of Afri-Devo projects. Presently, we are in the process of upgrading our BEE compliance grade and our intention is to uphold it at the highest levels throughout our operations, in line with our commitment to do all that we can to enhance Africa’s development; and that begins right here at home in South Africa. |
