This was our first renovations project, which provided a learning curve with many good lessons and new supplier and sub-contractor relationships established. The project set a new tone for us and also opened up new possibilities for Afri-Devo’s growth in the area of renovations and alterations.

All in all, the work scope entailed paintwork, tiling, plumbing, electrical work, glazing and carpentry to 28 double storey residential buildings and six laundry out buildings at the College alone, as well as various classroom and office buildings at the Music Cluster.

Despite the several challenges that were encountered, the project was completed within the designated timeline with a quality product delivered. It also set a benchmark for us in terms of our capacity to undertake renovations and alterations projects in the future.
